Initially, farmers crafted images of bulls and other animals as offerings to the Kavuli goddess in valluvanad Palakkad and kayakulam allapuzha area, seeking her blessings for prosperous crops and healthy livestock. Over time, this practice evolved into the grand spectacle of Kalavela, celebrated with immense devotion and artistry.
