Influenced by art forms like Kathakali and Theyyam, these murals trace their storytelling roots to ancient Indian art, such as the Ajanta cave paintings, and reflect a distinct regional aesthetic despite global influences.
In a modern adaptation, we’ve contributed to this tradition by creating designs on wooden pieces, later digitized, including a design titled "Matsya." Totemfacts now presents these designs as the "Mural Musings" series, bridging traditional techniques with contemporary access and appreciation.
